I have just recently purchased this orchid. I realize the flowers develop from the base of the leaves but I was wondering if all the leaves are capable of having flowers develop. Also, can a leaf that had previously had flowers develop, develop flowers multiple times.

I am sorry if this is a 'basic' question, but I have learned that the more I read about orchids, the less I know.

    Thank you for any response.

I had posted this as an unknown some years back and just updated the thread title. It is here: http://www.orchidsforum.com/threads/pleurothallis-rowlei.378/. If you search again with the spelling rowlei you will find more information. It does reflower from the same leaf and makes a great specimen. I grow it wet and cool to cool-intermediate in moderate light.

Marni, Thank you for the information. I was looking forward to having this plant produce blooms and after seeing the photos on the post you did, I really hope mine will look half as nice as yours.

    Thanks again,
