    Maxillaria sophronitis- I saw these blooms right after I watered yesterday. This plant has been in the same location in the greenhouse for several years and this is the first time I have seen more than 1 flower. A small victory for patience.

    wow beautiful! Orchid cultivation is a pleasant pastime that demands some preparation and attention on the part of the hobbyist. I have looked for various conditions necessary for its growth, but to no avail.
