I got a division of this orchid a few years ago from a friend who was among the first people in the US to import this orchid from a now defunct nursery in Panama. It’s an incredibly vigorous grower. This was a small division that came from my main plant and I mounted it on a piece of tree fern in august it has nearly covered the whole thing in just a few months. However, Pleurothallis dresseri never bloomed for me. Needles to say, that I was very excited when I noticed the very first flower on it a few days ago.

Haha thank you! It’s been an easy one for me but it could be just luck!

    Beautifully grown!
I doubt it's luck, everything you've been posting looks amazing!

What is your growing setup like?

Alex I have two setups. One for warm growers and one for cool ones. My warm set up is just a glass tank with a mistking, some fans and led lights from the orchid hobbyist. It’s a pretty standard “orchidarium” setup. My cool set up is a converted wine cooler.

Lovely! Such a precious little thing, and such an ambitious flower.

Do you happen to know anyone selling these? For that matter (and I'm not sure if the forum rules and etiquette allow me to ask; apologies if not) do you ever sell divisions of these? I've only ever seen two sites list it, and they've both been out of stock for a long time.
