Platystele stenostachya

    I bought this plant as Platystele beatrix, but it was clearly not that. I looked it up in Leur's Icones Pleurothallidinarum Vol 7. I believe it to be Platystele stenostachya, but I would love others thoughts on it.

    To me the flowers are more orange then the picture shows. Sorry for the pictures, that is the best I can get of the little bugger using my iPhone.

    Very nice IPhone photo! Do you have a macro adaptor for your IPhone?
    Sorry I can not help you on your Platystele ID but it is a very nice plant.

    Yes, I use a little $10 clip on macro lens from Amazon. I have no idea if it is any better then any other one on there, but it does help me take pictures of the little ones. Maybe one day i will get a nicer camera.
