I bought this a year or two ago as a surprise bloomer from Woodstream Orchids. Bill knew it was either China Dragon or Frank Smith. The two had gotten mixed during repotting. The flower is massive.

Congratulations Darlene! Is that your second AM so far this year? Interesting, I had a bunch of seedlings that were supposed to be Eric Young. They were getting too big and I was getting skeptical and they have also started blooming out as Frank Smith.

Thanks, Chuck. You are correct. This is my second AM ever and for the year. It's a pretty awesome streak.

You had a pretty nice surprise assuming you are fans of Phrag Frank Smith. How many seedling do you have? They take up a lot of room. Mine is a first bloom seedling. :)Just two growths.

I’ll have to count...probably 6 or so left. Sad thing is I sold some locally under the Eric Young tag when they were younger.
