Over the weekend I was at the AOS Trustees meeting in Wichita and got a phrag awarded. (I there aren't a lot of slipper folks on this forum, but I wanted to show this beauty anyway.) This was the plants first blooming, so it was all the more exciting to get an 83 point AM.

Congratulations on the blooming and the award. There are a lot of lurkers and guests here every day besides the regular posters and I'll bet there is a wide range of interests out there.

I will go ahead and de-lurk just to say that I first noticed this flower in Wichita from quite a distance and it was absolutely spectacular. The color was so intense and the flower was huge. Great job, Reyna - your entire exhibit was a work of art.

Wow! I got you to de-lurk Scott. That is a compliment. :) Now that you have posted something, maybe we'll see you around more often. :)
