    does anyone have a recommendation for an affordable camera to take good close up and while plant photos with?

    With cellphone cameras getting as good as they are, some of the older DSLR's have really come down in price.

    I have a Canon 77D, which I upgraded from a Canon XSi (450D) which can be had on the used market for about $100-$125 for the body. Lens is going to be additional, but they can be relatively inexpensive too.
