Best smelling orchid I own. A sweet, creamy, raspberry smell. It fills my whole GH.

Closest thing I could get to a whole plant shot.

    Beautiful plant and flowers, Jon!
I've never noticed the fragrance on mine. Do they only have fragrance at certain time of the day? I need to check on the fragrance when mine blooms later on.

Well done, Jon. I grow Phal honghenensis and it has a fragrance of grape KoolAid (how does one spell that?).

This probably my favorite phal I've ever seen. I think I need to find it.

Thanks everyone. I love this species. It's an easy grower for me, and it just keeps getting larger and larger and larger...

    I dunno. I've not noticed a time-dependent fragrance.

My tag says "phal wilsonii (honghenensis)". I'm assuming they're synonyms...?

Yup. Someone once told me it goes leafless when stressed, but I don't think my plant is stressed.

Um... this one has bloomed for me with restrepias (IC, low light, wet, no airflow, in the basement under fluorescent lights) and now in the GH (high airflow, I-IW, daily water, high RH, bright shade). I think it prefers the GH conditions, though.

    I needed garnish.
