Tiny Phalaenopsis primarilye found on lower elevations in the eastern Himalayas and further south across Indochinese peninsula. This is the first flowering and it produced a very short inflorescence with one small flower (about 2 cm). The whole plant is not more than 6 cm across. I grow this mounted on cork in the warm vivarium under medium/low light.

Very nice. I bloom this species, but mine are more of a muddy, vaguely purple lip. Maybe it is my less than ideal conditions or the clones (all from the same source).

Thank everyone! :) I like this one too, does not take too much space either. I was a bit surprised over the strong color on the lip too, the ones I have seen before have been much lighter, but I really like it! This clone is from Schwerter in Germany.
