I acquired this in May '09, so I can't really take credit for initiating the spikes. I love the pendant growth habit; each of the largest leaves is about 10 inches long. IOSPE incorrectly calls this a small plant, but Bakers' sheet indicates leaves 6-12". I mounted it on a coco fiber tube, and the roots have really dug into the fiber.

    Wow. Very well grown phal!

Phalaenopsis mariae may be confused with Phalaenopsis bastianii.

    That's great!
You can take credit for blooming it!
    Or, well, not blasting it.
