    I had poor results on a slab of wood... so it is now growing like a common hybrid phalaenopsis and does not seem to complain. the pot however is small and the roots are packed tightly in .

    Very nice! I can't tell from the picture, but this species has the "hinged" lip doesn't it? There is always some fascinating variation -- guess that is why we all love our orchids so much. :D
