    It is hard to believe, but it is the first time that this "enormous" Phalaenopsis blooms...
    The leaves are 40cm long!!

    Well it might have waited forever to bloom, but it made up for it with a nice show. :)

    In fact this orchids is 6 or 7 years old. I bought it in a flask and put it directly in rockwool after outflasking!!
    The last two years it produced long, long spike, more than one metter, but only with a keiki on the top. This year, with a bit more direct light and colder nights, the flowers are at the "rendez vous"!!:p
