Growing my third plant labeled as this. The first two, from different sources, bloomed out Dan Rosenberg. This one, from an international vendor, is doing what most of the phaius I have grown do. Putting out literally dozens of immature growths while seeming to grow well and remain healthy, but none mature. Just keeps putting out so many new growths it becomes a forest, but neither the original growths nor the later ones grow UP. This usually takes place over a year or two, and then the plant dies. Anyone have any insight into this and how to get the plant to mature properly? Pulled it out of its 5-inch pot. Plant is roughly 8-9 inches tall. phaiusrootsbest.jpg Snapchat-3681243.jpg

does this happen only with alba forms of the species, or with the species generally?
