Intermediate grower. Flowers are 1 3/4" across and un-scented.

Dirt? Just dirt? :D That's cool, Dale. I love Phaius and need to find this one and I grow mine in sphagnum, wet. I'm assuming your "dirt" never dries out?

Question. Just googled this and it came up on Andy's site as Gastrorchis. How come?

"I'm assuming your "dirt" never dries out?"

Correct. I was informed a long time ago it's dirt if it's in your back yard and 'soil' if you buy it. It's in commercially prepared potting soil.

"Just googled this and it came up on Andy's site as Gastrorchis. How come?"

    Because Andy's a splitter, and I'm not.

Sorry, this looks more like a Gastrorchis francoisii. You can tell this from the callus and the colouration of the lip.
