I have found this one to be very slow. I've had it for 3 years now and this is the first bloom. Three leaves, varying from 3 feet to 9 inches in length. I have it in a cedar mount hanging sideways with a very small amount of moss. I was a little upset to find a sneaky snail chowing down on one of the two buds the day before this one opened. Nice, it is exciting to see the flower after 3 years!
