    This is the Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly. He didn't sit still for long. He is working over the Penta.

    That's a beauty!

    Having butterflies in the yard is a labor of love. I have a number of plants that they love to make into their nurseries, and I just have to deal with the fact that they look like shit a large part of the year. But when the new crop of babies start fluttering around, it's all worth it.
