    Description: This small species is from NW China and N. Vietnam.

    Culture:

    Temps:
    - Summer: 65-75F
    - Winter: 55-70F or slightly cooler

    Light: Medium light

    Humidity: 60-80%

    Air circulation: Breeze

    Growing location: under HID light in the basement year round

    Growing medium: Pot - Plastic

    Growing medium notes: My plant is potted in CHC mix top dressed with some crusted oyster shell

    Water:
    - Frequency: Once a week during the active growing months, slightly drier during the cooler months
    - Fertilizer & frequency: 2x per month during the growing season; less or none during the colder months
    - Dry rest: Yes. From January to early March, I let the plant dry out a bit more than during the warmer months, water it once every 10 days, no fertilizer.

    Blooming season: Spring

    Flower size: The NS of a good flower is about 2.5"X4"

    Plant size: A small species. It can be a rambler.

    Other firsthand observations: Cool winter rest(drier) is benefitial
    1500-2000FC light level
    Good air movement

    ***flower is not long lasting for a Paph, normally last for about two weeks.

    Paph. armeniacum
    Paph. emersonii
