I purchased this one as a small seedling a couple years ago. If I can, I get a couple of a cross, but at times don't , due to price or space issues. With this one I do wish I had purchased a second, just to see the variations. It is a single growth 1st bloom seedling in a 2.5" pot. As of yet, it does not need a larger pot-- it's a little thing.

The flower is -just- opening, so the shape will change. I expect the dorsal to roll back and become more "villosum" shaped. Yesterday the petals on this guy were still hugging each other. I just couldn't resist taking a photo, the color on the dorsal was so bright it was practically screaming across the greenhouse. It's remarkably waxy and shiny. (yet fuzzy on the back)
