Here are some pics of my paludarium all planted. It'll grow in over the next couple of months, at which point I will add a few banded dendrobates leucomelas. The water is probably gonna have some freshwater shrimp and...?

As someone pointed out on another forum, the land/water transition is pretty abrupt. I plan on adding some wood to act as a shoreline and an escape route in case a frog falls in.

That's totally awesome. I'm going to make one some day. Of course i've been saying that for about ten years now...

I hope that's not ficus pumila i see in there. That vine is RAMPANT. Maybe its a hoya or something else but it looks a lot like creeping fig.

Jon, I have a mat forming begonia with 1/2" leaves that would probably do well in there. If you come to POE, remind me and I'll bring it. Also a 2" tall fern.

Thanks friends! I love this thing. I bought some zebra danios, an otocynclis, and a few ghost shrimp for the water today. The dart frogs will arrive at the end of March/early April. Not a day too soon... :)

Well shit. I can't seem to keep any fish alive in the paludarium part. I've had th water tested and retested by multiple fish stores. They all say it's perfect. The temps are in the mid-upper 70s. I think I need to drain the water area, remove the land part, and make it into a water featureless tank. That's ok, I guess. I think the leucs will do better with more volume in the tank.

I bet there's some kind of deadly toxin leaching out of a bulbo into the water. :poke:

Jon, what seems to be killing the fish? Maybe it has nothing to do with water quality but a pathogen.
