This year’s Exposition will take place from Friday, February 23th, through Sunday, February 25th, 2018 in the Hall of Flowers at Golden Gate Park, San Francisco:

There will also be an opening Gala Preview Night celebration held on Thursday, February 22nd beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The theme for the 2018 Exposition is “Curiouser and Curiouser, Orchids in Wonderland.” The theme plays off the story of “Alice in Wonderland,” and the Mad Hatter Tea Party will be the theme for the Gala.

Details have now been posted...was going through the vendor list and the only glaring thing i noticed was no Peruvian vendors? Bummer as I picked up a lot of great plants from both of the Peruvain vendors last year.

It is unfortunate. We have 3 vendors from Ecuador and none from Peru. That really cuts down on choice. I don't know what happened with Peruflora, but Orquideas Amazonica was late getting her application in and there was no room left.

Yes, a Bummer...they both added quite a bit of variety. I had also heard they wanted to cut back on the number of vendors this year.

With venue change the vendor number needed to be correspondent I suppose. Then again... there were some questionable vendors last year at the same venue, so...

Agreed...last year was crowded, but there were also a lot of added vendors who were not Orchid related. Thought changing back to "POE" would have maybe cut back on the total, but kept the Orchid vendors the same or even increased?

So the question...is anyone of this forum going. I have a business trip to San Jose at the beginning of the week, so since I'm already on that side of the continent, should probably go . Will probably go to the preview night and all day Friday.
