Anyone had success with growing Lycaste seedlings out of the flask? Is it as difficult as I've heard? Wish me luck!

It depends a lot on the seedlings. I've had notable success and notable failure. If there is a lot of leaf surface, you might want to trim them a bit so there is less respiration. I find keeping them covered in a plastic dome for a couple of weeks in the greenhouse helps. Lift the dome every couple of days to get in fresh air. I've done much better with them in bark or terrestrial mix than in moss. Good luck.

I wondered about this as I'd seen some Lycaste flasks offered.
