17 spikes, the longest is about 5" but still elongating as buds develop. At times it has a slight odor like cucumber. This is fast becoming a favorite genus of mine, does anyone have divisions of other species (incl. related genera) to sell or trade?

Thanks, Alexey and Alexis! I had delusions of CCMs dancing in my head until I asked someone to look up the AOS award info for the species. I think the lowest-scoring CCM was for a plant with 51 spikes! At least it gives me something to aim for...

I'll bet 51 spikes probably isn't that far away for you. I'd be happy with that blooming, it's great.
