    Hello,
I have a question about an orchid that I could put in a terrarium of mine. I own reptiles and will be doing a terrarium build (hopefully it will be soon). I plan to make a planted terrarium and since orchids are my other obsession, I want to put one or two in there as well as the other plants. The conditions in there are 20-26 Celcius (about 70-80F) the humidity is around 60-80%, and the light is quite low (but I will be getting some led grow lights if its necessary).
So my question is what species or hybrids meet my conditions? I can put phalaenopsis in but I have a lot of them and want to try something new.
Thank you very much in advance!

There are many Bulbophyllum species that would do well in your setup. If you decide on growing them mounted, you would need to water them daily.

Oh that is no problem, I have to mist every night so that my geckos drink water. I also forgot that they are from New caledonia and there are probably orchids from there, just hope they are available in my region.

There are not a lot of New Caledonian orchids available for sale, unfortunately. You might want to try Dendrobium platygastrium. It is a small sized plant that will do well in your growing conditions.

I seems logical that they are rare. Thank you for the anwsers and I will try to find some smaller Bolbophyllums (that don't stink) and look at that Dendrobium you mentioned.
