Oncidium onustum

    don't know what is going on. This year 2 spikes and both blasted, did the same thing last fall. Stick mounted, bright light, dries rapidly. Could it be that the temps are cooler at blooming time?

    Average minimum temperature in the habitat, for all months, is c. 68°F. Average humidity in the habitat is 75-80% for all months. From Baker and Baker.

    Thanks Dale...the average high temp is in the 80's. In the fall the greenhouses are given a natural cool down but not below 60 before the heat is turned on. I wonder if the temps below 68 are doing it. Humidity was high 70's when I checked last weekend.
