Oncidium Croesus

    I have had this plant for just over a year now, and although it grows very easily, this blooming is not particularly great. It is named after king Croesus of Lydia who was king from 595 B.C.-547 B.C. until the Lydian empire was defeated by the Persians and he was captured. Hope you like it!

    Very nice. Those two blooms look like the plants 'eyes'...Lol!...I like Oncidiums but haven't gotten any yet. Thanks for sharing.:)

    Like the story behind it ! How big does it get?/and how many blooms could it have per spike?/I love it so cute !!/

    It is quite a small plant. only about 4-5 in. I think. I guess a large specimen could take up some space, but the pseudobulbs and leaves don't get any bigger than what they are now. I'm not sure how many flowers it could get per spike, but I would guess around 5-6 absolute max. I don't really know much else about it besides the fact it is easy to grow!
