This is a compact near-miniature species that doesn't seem to have any special needs. I grow it mounted on cork bark (it is sitting in the pot for the photo only), in Cattleya light and daily summer water. The fragrance is wonderful and strong and fills the greenhouse.

For scale, the pot is 5 inches across and the plant, including inflorescences, is about 22" across. The typical growth is 6 inches +/- tall.

Thanks, Jai. To me it smells like Ivory soap.

Calvin, I got tired of seeing that old guy looking back at me o_O.

Thanks, Zach. Like many species growers, the Oncidium genus is not a favorite of mine. However, this little gem may be in my favorite top 10. Small, compact, colorful, floriferous, fragrant and easy.

Thanks, Dana. It is a very nice species and mine blooms reliably and heavily every year.
