Oncidium (Caucaea) phalaenopsis

    I don't know what the proper name for this is, but regardless its one of my absolute favorites. Grows fairly shady and pretty wet - its mounted with a largish sphagnum pad and I keep it wet enough that it was supporting grass growth earlier this year.

    I'll have to smell it again, but I remember it just faintly smelling weird. Something like wet hay, but my memory is really fuzzy other than it wasn't particularly pleasant.

    Its a cool grower, does very well in So Cal outdoors.

    I take that back, I smelled this morning, and it smells fantastic. Very florally
