Odontoglossum cirrhosum

    I guess some may now call this Oncidium, but it seems to strange to type that . This plant is a cool grower and is a first bloom seedling. It is not fully open, but the main spike is approximately 5 feet long and has 3-4 side branches of significant length as well. I wonder if it will live? It is currently in no more than a 3 inch pot, with foliage only about 6 inches high...nearly a miniature.

    Nice flowers! Though I don't think you can accuse it of having neat and tidy spikes.

    Lovely flowers, Chuck. It sounds like the plant itself may have a bit of a "Napoleon Complex!" ;)
