I'm curious to hear thoughts on this plant. I purchased it as O. estrellensis from a Brazilian supplier. The flowers have far more pink than my other O. estrellensis (from Andy's) or from any of the other photos I can find of it. Blooms also open late at night and stay open until about lunch time, but I can't remember if my other plant does the same. At a quick glance the leaves look slightly different between the two plants as well, but I might just be imagining things.

    Any thoughts?

I don't remember exactly how long mine are open, but it is days. Maybe 4 or 5 days? I also have never seen one with markings on the tepals. I see several differences in the lip, but I don't know if that is enough to declare it a separate species. It is very nice, whatever it is.

Very nice! May I ask who the supplier was? I've been trying to track estrellensis down for a while, Andy didn't have any last I checked.

This particular plant came from Floralia. They aren't usually on their list, but they seem to be able to get them when requested.
