Intermediate grower. Imaged growth is 2 cm tall. Flowers are 1.5 mm across. I notice some background aberration in the flower photo due to focus stacking. As long as the flowers are focused I'm kinda OK with that, though.

You and your damn lens, Dale. Makes me want to get out the credit card. I've never really seen the flower before. Nice roots, too.

Oh, just do it. You know you're gonna get it, anyway. Better to live rich, than die rich. I use mine much more than I thought I would.

I agree. You should buy one Marni.

Dale, what lens are you using?

Chuck, for the flower photo I used a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lense.

You should talk, Chuck. You don't even have a camera.

Good, I'm waiting for you to post what's in bloom.

I've been spending my money on books and bookshelves rather than camera equipment. Now it seems there will be quite a bit needed to set up for flasking and that will have to come before a new lens, no matter how fabulous Dale's images are. And then of course, maybe it isn't just the lens that makes Dale's pictures what they are.

masdevallia, I've only had the plant since February. It arrived here with four growths; the largest is 1" tall. Last year I was whining about losing my Oberonia japonica and a very kind forum member gave me this plant. Probably to shut me up. :D

Sorry for the late joining of the party. This is NOT Ob. falcata, which in my opinion is a junior synonym of Ob. anthropophora. Your specimens looks *similar* to Ob. titania, but not 100% sure on that. Will take a bit more digging to confirm or correct ID on this one.
