I don't mean to join the incorrect forum. I am rather new at orchids after loosing everything in a hurricane. I am growing oncidum and compact catts. What do I need to know about paph culture as I have an interest in them. I grow everything jn a jnsulated 12x24 shed. I use 1 set of t5s and a hugh led light that covers a 6x6 area.

    Welcome, Dennis,

For Paphs, the following site contains lots of interesting and useful info:
    http://www.ladyslipper.com/magazin.htm

Also, you might want to take a look at Dr. Tanaka's page:
    http://www.orchid.or.jp/orchid/people/tanaka/indexe.html

Here is the culture related topics:
    http://www.orchid.or.jp/orchid/people/tanaka/cult/enculindex.html

These sites haven't been updated, but there are lots of interesting info.

Also, slippertalk is the place to hang out for us Paph enthusiasts, so you might want join there, too.

If you don't have this book, it is worth getting:
    http://www.amazon.com/Paphiopedilum...&qid=1419196526&sr=8-1&keywords=paphiopedilum

It will be good to edit your location in the profile. Some paphs could be a bit more challenging in hot climate.
