Purchased this one many moons ago from Carter and Holmes. It's interesting in that it is always throwing spikes, but they bast during the summer. During fall the spikes are successful. I grow it in the summer outside with the Vandaceous types.

That's odd. My Lou Sneary is always in flower at the end of January, which is smack bang in the middle of summer for us. I don't think it's ever spiked during any other season. It's very nice Clark, I need to find a nice "blue" one

tracey, maybe it's just screwed up and can only bloom in the months that end in 'er'.
