Need help with the ID of this one

    Hi there,

    I would appreciate any help regarding this orchid species I photographed in The Snow Mountains, Papua.
    The closest I got is Dendrobium limpidum but it does look different.
    Elevation 3400 m above sea-level.

    Looks closer to something like caliculimentum with the long pendulous growths.

    I think the flowers are too open to be Den caliculimentum. Great images!

    That’s why I said “closer to something like” . If the blooms on my caliculimentum opened wider, I would have a hard time telling them apart.

    FYI...I looked through every Dendrobium photo on the Orchids of New Guinea website and saw nothing that matched up exactly with this incredible plant.
