Mystacidium gracile

    Last year I preordered plants from Afri Orchids when they came to San Francisco. After the trip from Africa to California and back to the East Coast of the US, things were pretty desiccated...but they all survived and grew quite well.

    I grew this plant moist over the Summer and Fall and have kept quite dry during the winter and have been rewarded with two spikes. I credit the lack of mistakes (so far) on this one from a thread on this forum from Marni back in 2008!
