My best Phalaenopsis bellina

    This is a youngster, blooming for the first time, and I'm pretty pleased with it. It has a natural spread of 5cm, and it is perfectly flat with a bright, clear fuschia lip. The tips of the tepals have a slight greenish cast, which isn't apparent in the photos.

    I think when this baby grows up, it could well be award quality (though I'm no expert.)

    Once upon a time I saved up and spent a good chunk of money on some line-bred bellinas but when I tested them they all had viruses (asymptomatic). Someday I would like to try again, but I still haven't quite healed from that. It's great to enjoy yours instead!
