She's growing fast and can reach the top of my night stand, now. She's doing pretty well with the concept of being house-broke, but is a little vague on the sequencing. Peeing in front of the TV then hauling ass for the door makes sense to her, for now.

Um... don't try to super glue your glasses back together after you've had a few drinks. It doesn't work out so well. Or so I hear.

I made myself a monocle. Seems to work OK, although it's not very comfortable. Do they make ergonomic brazing rod?

She didn't do it. Those look like turtle bites to me.

Dale, why do breeders dock Boxers' tails? Is there some reason for it other than cosmetic?

You've had older dogs so long you've forgotten about puppy destruction???? In front of the tv, eh? Not so long ago Sophie peed inside the doggie door and then went outside.
Bless Clarice lil heart, she'll catch on soon.

"Dale, why do breeders dock Boxers' tails? Is there some reason for it other than cosmetic?"

Yes. I presume you've never seen a Boxer with an intact tail. It's long and whip-like. Considering that Boxers should not be housed outdoors, that kind of tail is a distinct disadvantage.

"You've had older dogs so long you've forgotten about puppy destruction????"

No. It's an acceptable risk. Doesn't mean I have to like it, though.

You're right. I haven't seen a boxer with a tail, however, I've had sweeping tails all my
adult life and know to put stuff up out of tail range. Well, except for my shins.

Clarice is worth far more than a little acceptable risk. You probably needed new glasses
anyway. Please keep posting photos every two weeks or so. I've fallen deeply in love
    with her sweet little face.
