This one came from Carter and Holmes a couple of years ago. It's blooming early.

Very pretty, Clark. Nice and white with that little bit of yellow.

Very nice. I haven't seen the alba before and I like it.

MJ, that's as open as it gets. Marni thank you for the compliment, it's nice to grow some orchid plants that are tough on you. By the way Marni, that's a great article in the April Orchids mag you did. Do you think I can grow Cryptochilus sanguineus here in hot North Florida?

Sorry to be so long answering. I started to write something and then erased it. I don't have any experience with warmer temperatures so don't really know. My suspicion is that the winter is more important than the summer temperatures. How cool does it get there in the winter?

I try to keep the greenhouse at 60F. It gets to the high 20's outside.

It might work, I've done it in mid-50's. Maybe you have a cooler spot near a vent or something. Some things have a much greater tolerance than we expect
