I bought my first miltonia and over the past 6 weeks it's buds have all turned brown and dropped off so it's now mostly foliage as the blossoms age out. I've got it in my house with filtered light and a humidity tray. It may have had some stress when I brought it home, as it was a 5 hour drive, but I'm just concerned I'm not giving it whatever it needs to be happy. IMG_6277.JPG IMG_6276.JPG

Jedibabe, what you see happening is very common. These plants undergo a lot of environmental changes before they get to your house and sometimes it is just too much for the buds. Grower-transportation-store-your car ride home-being in your house. Lots of trauma there for those buds so it probably isn't from anything you are doing wrong. This happens a lot with the Phalaenopsis, too.

Kelly, that makes me feel a lot better! Thank you. My Phalaenopsis seem to do pretty well, but this near failure was really getting me down. Thansk again.
