    I would like to encourage everyone to edit their profile and include their location. Of course if it is already there you don't need to do anything. If you don't want people to know exactly where you live you could put something generic like Western USA, or U.K., etc. It is nice to know from a personal perspective plus it helps when you ask a question or post a beautiful plant that we want to grow.

    Also, I like knowing a persons real name. I feel odd writing a post to "Qbdz456". If you don't mind people knowing your name or nickname you can edit your information and place a name in the "signature" location. This won't change your username.

    These are just little issues I have. If you prefer to be more anonymous we all still appreciate your presence and input on the forum.

    Excellent idea Kelly. What works for me growing orchids in Fort Wayne, Indiana USA might not work growing the same orchid in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) or for that matter, Tibilisi, (The Republic of) Georgia.

    If you don't know how to edit your information, here is how:

    When logged in ... click on your username in the upper right area of the page.
    From the drop-down menu select "personal details" or "signature" or what ever you want to edit.
    Make the desired changes and save.

    I totally agree with your suggestion!

    And I always try to see orchid growing in the context of the growing conditions. There are no trademark secrets, only adaptation of advices to your own growing environment! One thing that works under certain conditions could be fatal under other.
