Does anyone have any experience growing Maxillaria arachnitiflora or venusta? I believe they are warm-intermediate, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

I don't personally know either of them, but did find Maxillaria arachnitiflora in The Unfinished Monograph of Eric Christenson. "It has been recorded at elevations of 400 to 1400 m although I have not seen voucher specimens documenting the lower range. Grow plants in pots or baskets under cool conditions." Of Maxillaria venusta he says,"Recorded at elevatioins of 2000m, plants of M. venusta should be grown in pots or baskets under cool conditions. It is a spectacular species that does not appear to be in cultivation at this time." If you want the description and other text for these, I can scan the relevant
    pages.
