Not the best pic, but it's putting on a nice show! The gh smells great.
superb flowering I can imagine fragrance everywhere ;-P
Nice show, indeed! I enjoy the fragrance every time I am somewhere where it is in flower. I gave up on it years ago. Just couldn't grow it, let alone flower it.
Nice big plant and good blooming. Congrats.
Zach, I just noticed that you used an abbreviation for the genus. It won't be found when someone looks for Maxillaria. OK if I change it?
Thanks everyone! Sorry about the abbreviation, if I make any mistakes in my titles feel free to fix them.
Zach, do you have any medium in the basket. Mine has grossly overgrown its plastic pot and I will be repotting... just looking for ideas.
A very small portion of it is in wood basket with a bark mix. It's a course mix that hasn't been changed for at least 3 years! The bulk of the plant has way overgrown the basket so I'm just going to leave it as it is.
Is a basket a preferred method for these?
