Maxillaria fucata

    A different color form from my awarded one, though no less spectacular. The 2-2.5" flowers appear on upright stems on this medium to large cool-growing maxillaria. My maxes seem to like the medium bark/hand chopped sphagnum/large sponge rock mix in their plastic pots, kept moist and given good light. Another success for the cool growing case!
