Maxillaria costaricensis

    I received this little guy from Kelly sometime in the latter half of last year. It's given me a flower or so pretty consistently since I obtained it, but it currently is throwing a nice flush for the size of the plant. I'm not sure if this time is its "season" or if it just likes the greenhouse better than my previous sub-optimal conditions. Either way, I like it, and I think a specimen of this species has to look pretty nice when in full bloom!

    I have one the flowers smell like a perfume straight out of a bottle! It's an easy grower also.
