Another beautiful one!
Nice shape flowers, and wonderful crisp photos.
They make me wanting to own Masdevallia yungasensis.
This is about the only one of this shape of masdevallia I like. I have a small adult plant that seems to be very weak. Any tips beyond what the books say?
How cool can you keep it at night? I find yungasensis is resentful of warm summer nights.
You can always try growing them in a terracotta pot and spaghnum as a substrate. Keeps the roots cooler.
That’s what I do as well and with larger plants, I add some Leca and hard tree fern fiber to keep the moss a little more aerated.
50-52ºF at night, 70-72ºF days
Would think you should do fine.
