Masdevallia tonduzii

    Another one of the relatively few species of Masdevallia that do well for me. Flowers are about 2½" tall and last for 2-3 weeks.

    Growing it intermediate, shady, moist.

    I have it potted. The presentation on your mounted plant is much better than potted.

    After seeing how much more some other people's plants have bloomed, I gave my plant a stern talking to, and a made a few threats. As you can see, intimidation works!

    All the spikes from January put out new buds, and a bunch of new spikes as well. This was taken yesterday morning.
