Masdevallia tinekeae

    This is a cold grower from Bolivia. This almost died two Summers ago, I have hung it directly in front of an evaporative cooler, so now it blooms for the first time since near death!

    Mines growing like yungasensis... very climby, yours looks nicely cespitose.

    I have a couple clones and friends on the west coast (US) grow this species as well and haven’t seen the growth habit that you describe. Where/how are you growing yours? Can you post a photo...sounds interesting.
