Masdevallia ova-avis

    The close-up is from a few years ago and the plant image is from this past winter. Because of the tendency of this species to climb I like to grow this with a backing of cork or a tree fern totem behind it.

    Oh wow!! I know it is not hard to tug at my heartstrings when Masdevallia is concernerd... but seriously... WOW!! Nice growing Marni! I think I need one of those!! :D

    Tom, the longest single leaf is 10" from rhizome to tip. Most are 8 to 9".
