    Masdevallia floribunda

    In the latest Orchid Digest Lynn O'Shaunghnessy shows this as in the genus Acinopetala, so apparently the revision of Masdevallia is well under way. M. floribunda is a very variable species from Central America. Its warmth tolerance and floriferousness make it a good choice as your first Masdevallia.
