A beautiful masdevallia species. LARGE flowers for a small plant. I think this one needs to be mounted.

It will grow very well potted, but it is hard to see the flowers. Well done, Jon.

Oh man, one of my all time favorite Masides! Would this grow well if it went up to maybe 80-85 in the summer?

DukeBoxer, my swamp cooler comes on at 80 in the summer and some days the greenhouse goes over that. My thinking is that the night temperature is more critical. Plants can take warmer days if the nights drop where they need it. It is the too warm days coupled with too warm nights the really stress them. M. decumana isn't a really high elevation plant so it might be worth a try.
