Cute color and shape of the flower.
It's rather rounder than I generally see the photos.
    Is it smell nice?

What's your success secret? I grow many cool/cold growing Masdevallia but this one just struggles. Barely grows any leaves, and never blooms. Any hints? My temperatures are 74F during the day and 53-54F at night. Does it like it colder than that?

It's the first time I have such a perfect round shaped flower on this one. It doesn't have any scent I"m afraid.

I grow it cooler. In winter it is maximum 62F during the day and 50F at night. It get's extra led light in winter. And I have much better flowering on all my orchids since I use seaweed based foliar feeding once a week.

The seaweed I like has gottten quite expensive and I am trying some other brands. Can't quite figure out how strong to use the new ones. Do you know the total ppm of the solution for foliar feeding?

The brand I use is Maxsea. It's developed especially for carnivorous plants and epiphytes like Tillandsia. I don't know if you can buy it the USA. The recommendation is 0.5 g per liter. I use half of that. I didn't know the ppm so I've measured it now and it is 190 ppm.

Thanks, Gerrit! We have a fertilizer in the US with the brand name of Maxsea. It has several formulas, including a 16-16-16 and a 3-20-20. Which have you been using? I know people who have used it in the past and they seemed happy with it as a general fertilizier. I may try it since some of my plants aren't doing well and haven't rebounded from the troubles a few years back.

Must be the same thing. The one I use is 16-16-16. I also use Rainmix at half the recommended strenght two times a month. Since I've increased the fertilizing I've got much better results in general
